Dave was born and bred in Sandwell. Married with three school aged boys, he’s determined to make Sandwell a better place for every child to grow up in.
He’s lived in the Charlemont with Grove Vale ward for the past 9 years. So he knows the problems there, understands residents’ concerns and is committed to producing solutions.
Community service is second nature to him. For 10 plus years he coached a local youth football team. “Proper facilities and constructive activities for young people are important if they are to grow into well-adjusted balanced adults” says Dave.
Education is an interest, he was Chair of St Margaret’s School parent teacher association.
Currently, Dave is Chair of the Friends of Red House Park.
These involvements reflect his commitment to youth, education and environmental concerns. A keen Brexit supporter, Dave sees it important now for everyone to come together to build for the future.
