"It was a huge honour to be elected to serve the people of West Bromwich East on 12th December, which has not elected a Conservative MP since 1931! Coming from generations of Baggies supporters, this area of the Black Country feels like home. Time and time again on the doorstep people told me the same story - they have been underrepresented and not listened to for years. It's time for that to change. I am going to be the MP for everyone and work tirelessly to ensure West Bromwich East receives the investment it deserves. I am on your side.
Born and bred in the Black Country, I grew up in Dudley and have been a representative on Dudley Council for just over four years. As a committed Brexiteer, I voted and campaigned to leave the EU in the 2016 referendum and I have already cast my vote in Parliament to get Brexit done so that we could leave the EU on 31st January.
I have always been active across Black Country communities and I will continue to use that same drive and energy in West Bromwich East. Throughout my career I have sought to campaign against racism and antisemitism and I believe we need to build a society that works for everyone, not just a privileged few.
I will continue to demand good jobs are created for local people; our transport infrastructure is levelled-up; all children have access to good schools; hospitals receive the funding they require and our high streets are attractive places for businesses to thrive.
It is an honour to be elected to Parliament with a majority 1,593. And I will work hard to represent the people of West Bromwich East."
